Ex Novo

Ex Novo is a collaborative city-building roleplaying game in which the settlement itself is the central character. Players trace a community from its founding through generations of growth, conflict, landmark construction, and historical change, creating both a map and a usable history as they play.

The resulting city can stand alone as a complete story or become a richly grounded location for another fantasy campaign.
